Time for bright and brilliant colour again! Time to let go of the earthy’s and the muted’s and let pure unadulterated colour loose!

Alocasia Brisbanensis led the way, followed by love-hearts, then by bubbles or cells – and eventually I understood that it was all interconnected. Threads of light and life connect our world through love. Living things all stand in relationship to one another, in a sense of unity and togetherness. This is our world and we are to have dominion over it – not in the overbearing and abusive sense, but in sense of caring, wise and respectful stewardship of what has been placed in our hands.

The realization that it is all interconnected, brings brilliant, full-colour revelation – that’s what this painting is about.
