Lilypond: Spirit and Light

Feel the peace…

The lilypond, viewed from above, reflects heaven. I began with bright blues and greens. But as I looked at it, it beckoned me for more. So I created misty layers of depth, and a sense of movement across the canvas, with accents of warm light to highlight the complex and varied edges of waterlilies. This adds a sense of experiencing the realm of Spirit and Light… beside the still waters of the lilypond.

A dragonfly hovers over the surface of the water – one with a brilliant blue body and silvery wings, like those that hover over the lilypond on The Retreat.

And it is now complete. Just as I am complete, just as I am.

Breathe… Breathe in the Spirit and the Light… and the Peace.
